HRH QUEEN ELIZABETH II

Commissioned by the National Army Museum in Chelsea this bronze bust shows her Royal highness Queen Elizabeth as her 18 year old self in her Auxiliary Territorial Service (ATS) uniform. It was sculpted at the museum as part of a week long Artists Residency.

This was the first service uniform Her Majesty ever wore so particular care was taken to ensure accuracy for the period, including taking original insignia from the museum to the foundry and casting them directly to ensure the level of detail was perfect.

A video of the bust can be seen here.

As an Army wife, a Royalist and a Sculptor, it has been the privilege of a life time for me to be commissioned to create this bust, commemorating her Majesty’s life of service.

HRH KING CHARLES III

What began as a live sculpture of the then Prince of Wales sadly ended the day as the first sculpture of the new King Charles III.

Buckingham Palace have officially approved permission for this limited edition portrait sculpture of the new King, with a portion of each edition going to HM Queen Elizabeth II’s green Canopy project.

A full video of the sculpture can be seen here.

ALAN TITCHMARSH

After live sculpting for his 'Love Your Weekend' Sunday show, Alan went on to commission the portrait in Bronze. He really is exactly as lovely and charming in real life as you could hope!

CHARLES BERKLEY

Charles Berkeley, the owner of historic Berkeley Castle in Gloucestershire, commissioned me to sculpt his portrait for the Castle Art collection. A tradition reaching back through the Castles nine century history of creating portraits of each member of this ancient family who become care takers of the Castle.

Our first sitting was during the Summer exhibition by the Cotswold Sculptors Association, of which I am a member. The bronze portrait bust is now on display a part of the Castle Art Collection, which also includes a beautiful painting by Stubbs.

ROSALIND FRANKLIN

This bronze portrait tondo of the chemist Rosalind Franklin was commissioned by Mount Anvil for their Hampstead Manor London development.

Rosalind's work was ground breaking but her story over looked. Her professional success and discovery of the structure of DNA sadly attributed to men until recently. Further details of the commission and Rosalind’s story can be found here.

This portrait was selected for the Society of Portrait Sculptors Annual Show in 2021.

GENERAL SUSAN RIDGE

My ceramic portrait of the first female General in British Military History, Major General Susan Ridge (retired), has been purchased by the National Army Museum London for their permanent collection.

This is the original clay sculpture fired and painted with a bronze effect finish and is available to view to the general public in the Museums’ library display.
